OPPO SUPPORTS VIDEO CREATORS THROUGH ITS NEW RENO 2 SERIES PHONES

A full house during the grand launch of OPPO Reno2 Series in the Philippines, officially debuting both the Reno2 and the Reno2 F – smartphones especially designed to be a videography powerhouse.

The launch was graced by notable vloggers and content creators who were also signed as OPPO’s newest ambassadors, including actors Gabbi Garcia and Mikael Daez, fashion and lifestyle personality LaureenUy, and globe-trotting adventurer Daniel Marsh. Trying the new video innovation brought by OPPO Reno 2 series, these icons will now be able to widen their horizons, discover new possibilities, and express their selves with no reservations.

OPPO also launched the “100 Moments” digital campaign which features 100 diverse stories that were captured using the Reno2. Each distinct story is open for viewing online through the hashtag #AnyoneIsAStorymaker.

OPPO Reno 2 Specs

For someone who uses video sharing through different social media platforms to express their thoughts while exercising creativity, the OPPO Reno 2 has improved features to support you in what you do.

Oppo Reno 2 stands out a bit thanks to its shark fin pop-up camera module. At the front, the smartphone sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and has thin bezels all around. The shark fin module on the Reno 2 swivels up to reveal the selfie camera. This module also houses the secondary microphone and the earpiece. The frame of the Reno 2 has a thin grille at the top to allow sound from the earpiece to pass through.

Reno series from Oppo is camera-centric, and the Reno 2 packs good hardware. It has a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with 20x digital zoom along with optical as well as electronic image stabilization through its Ultra Steady Mode Feature. There’s also a 13-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. The fourth sensor on the Reno 2 is a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Adding to the Reno2 camera’s roster of video-focused features are the Bokeh Effect Video that adds depth, the Background Noise Reduction feature that cuts out background noise to make the subject’s sounds more focused, and the Audio Zoom feature that allows one to amplify the sound of a subject while zooming in on it.

Video recording tops out at 4k 30fps for the primary camera and 1080p 30fps for the selfie shooter.The Sound Focus feature for video recording does work.

Furthermore, the Reno 2 gets a 20W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 charger in the box. It has support for Bluetooth 5, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, five satellite navigation systems, and dual 4G VoLTE. It also has the usual array of sensors. Oppo has managed to pack in a 4,000mAh battery.You can enjoy the immersive video experience on the Reno2’s 6.5” AMOLED full screen made from durable 6th Generation Corning® Gorilla® Glass and the Dolby ATMOS feature to experience surround sound effects when using a headset.

Oppo offers the Reno 2 in two colors – the Sunset Pink and Luminous Black.

The OPPO Reno 2F smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa core (2.1 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 + 2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor. It runs on the MediaTekHelio P70 Chipset. It has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

OPPO Reno 2F smartphone has a AMOLED display. It measures 161.8 mm x 75.8 mm x 8.7 mm and weighs 195 grams. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 396 ppi pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and screen-to-body ratio of 84.38 %. On camera front, the buyers get a 16 MP Front Camera and on the rear, there’s an 48+8+2+2 MP camera with features like Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus.

The Reno2 F also utilizes Electronic Image Stabilization to guarantee image stabilization amidst high-action activities together with 119°Ultra Wideangle adaptability to enable you to capture wider perspectives

The new OPPO Reno2 will be available at a retail price of PHP 28,990 and will come with Muse Bluetooth Speaker worth PHP2,499 as a freebie. The Reno2 F will, on the other hand, retails at PHP 19,990 with O1 Bluetooth Headphone worth PHP2,499 as a freebie. Both are now available for preorder until October 24, and will be officially available nationwide on October 25. It will also be sold online via Lazada, Shopee, Akulaku, Argomall, Abenson and Memoxpress.

For those who can’t afford to get it in one go, there’s a good news for you too. OPPO partnered with Globe and Smart, making these phone available for installment plans. For Globe, the Reno2 will be available on Plan 1,799online and offline with no cash out starting October 24, while for Smart, the Reno2 will be available on Smart Signature Plan M1,499 with Php7,500 cash out starting November 8.

The OPPO ENCO Q1 will be sold for only PHP4,990 starting October 25 in all OPPO concept stores and authorized dealers nationwide. It is also available via Home Credit for 6 months installment with 0% interest.
