Customers may expect exhilarating and heart-racing experiences as Toyota Motor Philippines begins its 35th year

In honor of its 35th anniversary, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) would like to express its gratitude to all of the people who have helped it become the market leader in the nation.

To enable consumers to feel the pleasure and joy of moving together, TMP developed special activities and promotions in keeping with the theme “Creating Happiness in Mobility.”

“We dedicate this celebration to the generations of Filipino Toyota customers who have embraced the Toyota brand and became Toyota’s brand ambassadors,” said TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto. “To thank our customers for this milestone and to give them a glimpse of our exciting future together, we are treating them to exciting and unforgettable activities this month to kickstart our 35th year.”

With customer experiences centered around its electrification push for carbon neutrality and its drive to keep making ever-better cars and unforgettable fan experiences through racing, TMP is elevating the joy of driving for its 35th anniversary celebration.

Leave No One Behind: Electrified Mobility for All

TMP is starting its August anniversary month strong by bringing in a new Toyota nameplate that will further expand its wide range of electrified vehicles. Positioned as its “Most Affordable Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) yet”, TMP promises to change the electrified game anew with the arrival of the All-New Toyota Yaris Cross HEV.

TMP is unveiling the All-New Yaris Cross and exhibiting its powerhouse lineup of electrified sedans, MPVs, and SUVs, at its “Go Electrified with Toyota” fair, making these electrified cars available for public test drive, customer inquiries, and reservations.

With a total of 35 units of electrified cars from Toyota and Lexus all in one place, this event is happening at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig from August 4 to 6. The August 4 opening program will also be livestreamed on Toyota’s official Facebook page.

“We believe in giving our customers the power of choice, that is why we advocate for a multiple pathway approach to achieving carbon neutrality in mobility,” said Okamoto. “Widespread adoption of electrified vehicles is one of those paths and we are glad to give the public accessible and practical electrified vehicle options.”

The “Go Electrified with Toyota” fair allows customers to familiarized and personally experience electrified vehicles especially HEVs that are appropriate with the current needs and conditions of the country. By giving its customers a wide range of choices and eliminating hurdles to shifting to electrified technology, TMP is enabling Filipinos to start contributing to global decarbonization for a more sustainable future.

Lalamove Automotive and Toyota Motor Philippines established a partnership

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), Toyota Financial Services Philippines (TFS), Toyota Taytay, Rizal (TTR) and Lalamove Automotive partner to bring mobility to more Filipinos with the Toyota Lite Ace. From L-R: TTR Vehicle Sales Manager Fernando Lim, Lalamove Automotive Assistant Operations Manager John Vincent Tuazon, Lalamove Automotive Marketing Lead Mikee De Chavez, TTR President and General Manager Zellyn Lim, TMP Vice President for Sales Distribution Elijah Marcial, TMP Fleet Sales Distribution Head Patricia Hechanova, TTR Assistant Vehicle Sales Manager Faye Francese Calma, TMP Fleet Officer Michael Castañeda, TMP Fleet Specialist Masataka Asahi, TTR Assistant General Manager Connie Salang, TFS Provincial Sales Area Head Adrian Lobitana, TFS Provincial Sales Officer James Del Mundo and TFS Provincial Sales Officer Christian Jonir Fajardo.

With the introduction of the commercial vehicle Toyota Lite Ace as a transport partner, premier mobility firm Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has teamed with leading logistics provider Lalamove through its auto brand, Lalamove Automotive.

Through this collaboration, prospective and current Lalamove operators will be able to purchase the Lite Ace Panel Van model through Lalamove Automotive’s Vehicle Ownership Program.

With the mobility requirements of micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) steadily rising, TMP, through one of its dealerships Toyota Taytay, Rizal (TTR), moved to meet the demand by developing an economical price structure for the Lite Ace. After that, TTR and TFS worked with Lalamove to offer this affordable price as a choice for partner operators, providing them the convenience to expand their delivery and transportation services. .

The TTR-Lalamove Automotive Business Roadshow held last March introduced to current and potential operators the opportunity to have the Lite Ace as a mobility partner in transporting goods and services for Lalamove customers. The Panel Van variant, in particular, lets Lalamove partner operators transport more goods as it is within the required payload capacity for Lalamove vehicles with its redesigned compact body and efficient engine. Customers who book moving services through the Lalamove app and choose the Lite Ace can be assured of the quality, durability and reliability one can expect from a Toyota vehicle.

“We are very happy and excited that Toyota Taytay, Rizal is part of this partnership with Lalamove Automotive, Toyota Financial Services and Toyota Motor Philippines. To have a hand in assisting our customers in improving their quality of life by expanding access through financing so that they can acquire reliable Toyota mobility vehicles to use in their business is a privilege on our part. We hope that in the long run, more and more customers will benefit from this partnership, leading to better livelihoods for more Filipinos and a stronger Philippine economy,” shared Toyota Taytay, Rizal President Zellyn Lim.

In support of the entrepreneurial spirit of kababayans, a series of caravans is being rolled out by TTR and Lalamove Automotive to reach out to more potential operators. Under the program and with every Lite Ace purchase, a partner operator will enjoy a comprehensive accident and repair coverage by Toyota Insure and free Periodic Maintenance Service from 1K KM until the 40K KM checkup.

Further strengthening the collaboration, plans for the program include the possibility of using vehicles from T-SURE, Toyota’s Quality Pre-Owned Cars program, for Lalamove operations.

The Toyota Lite Ace is made to be the trustworthy business companion of Filipino MSMEs because to its reasonable price, simple design, and low maintenance requirements. The Lite Ace’s high efficiency, adaptable load capacity, and low fuel consumption enable drivers and businesses to maximize their journeys and increase savings. It is available in the Panel Van, Pickup, Cargo, and FX varieties.
