LOVE AGAIN (Soundtrack from The Motion Picture) has now been made available through Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Records. Five new Celine Dion songs are included on the 14-track album, including “Love Again,” the album’s title track, and her most recent single, “I’ll Be.”  

The latter’s visuals include brand-new movie snippets together with touching images and notes from admirers all across the world.

Along with six of Celine’s prior successes and three of the film’s score selections, the soundtrack also features the singer’s first brand-new material since her 2019 album Courage.

Dion describes, “Some of these songs were recorded a while ago, and yet they still feel so right for this movie. I’m very grateful to be able to share them with you, the ones you know so well along with the new ones.”

In the movie Love Again, which stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan, and Celine Dion (in her debut cinematic appearance), eleven songs by Celine are incorporated into the plot and the lives of the protagonists. Love Again, written for the screen and directed by Jim Strouse, is currently playing in theaters through Screen Gems. Sam Heughan recently stated in an interview with People Magazine that “Celine’s music, in a way, brings my character and Priyanka’s character together,” with Priyanka Chopra Jonas adding that Love Again is “our ode to Celine.” here is the trailer.

The Four Kings and Queen performance, performed on May 7, 2023, at the Enchanting Events Place, was a huge success for Enchanted Kingdom in collaboration with DSL Events and production House. It successfully took spectators back to the heyday of Original Pilipino Music (OPM). In an effort to highlight the beauty and diversity of Filipino music, Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas and the City of Santa Rosa, Laguna, jointly presented the event.

Under the musical guidance of Gerry Matias, the original Hitmakers Marco Sison, Hajji Alejandro,     Nonoy Zuñiga, Rey Valera, and the Concert Queen herself, Pops Fernandez, all delivered passionate interpretations of OPM songs throughout the evening.

Rebecca Rufino, Marketing Department Head of Enchanted Kingdom, thanks everyone for joining and hope that the event will bring a renewed appreciation for Filipino music and culture.

Filipino alternative rock band Mayonnaise closes up the celebration of their 20th anniversary in the Philippine music scene with a major concert on May 20, 2023, at the QC Circle, from 5pm onwards.

The anniversary show, dubbed MAYO 20: The Finale, honors Mayonnaise’s legacy as one of the most significant Filipino bands of its time, creating outstanding hits that appeal to listeners of all ages and backgrounds.

MAYO 20: The Finale serves as the culminating event in a series of events that strive to give back to the music lovers who have supported the band since day one.

 “I’m honestly surprised that we’ve made it this far,” Mayonnaise frontman Monty Macalino admits. “MAYO 20: The Finale is more than just a celebration of longevity and all the great things that have happened to us. We want to give our fans what they truly deserve, and we want to return the favor by going all out with our performance. We will always be forever grateful to them for showering us with unconditional love and support.”

Late last year, Mayonnaise blessed their fans with a 20th anniversary tour, performing at some of the largest venues in the country, from Luzon to Mindanao, and have continued to do so this year, playing a number of events domestically. On May 20, the five-piece alt-rock outfit will be culminating their 20^th anniversary celebration in a venue known for its iconic point of convergence: a heritage park that welcomes family-friendly and diverse gatherings.

Josh Cullen of SB19 continues his winning streak with the release of his follow-up single via Sony Music Entertainment after making his solo debut with the edgy banger “Wild Tonight.”

With the aptly named “Pakiusap Lang,” the P-Pop singer demonstrates that he is unconstrained by boundaries when it comes to creating and performing a simple love song blended with trap-heavy sounds and hip-hop lines.

“The lyrics came from my heart, and I wanted to make sure the arrangement and sonic vibe reflected my Filipino hip-hop side,” Cullen reveals. “My cousin and his friends helped out with the chorus, and we all had a good time putting it together.”

According to SB19’s resident lead rapper and sub-vocalist, “Pakiusap Lang” is a song that is based on his personal experiences and thoughts about relationships. He further explains, “It’s all about the struggles of maintaining a relationship when you can’t be with your partner all the time due to work or other struggles going on in life. The song encourages the listener to hold on and trust the process.”

A romantic rap ballad that forays into emotional honesty as much as it does with stylistic finesse, “Pakiusap Lang” shows a different side of Cullen: an entertainer that doesn’t need to resort to gimmicks just to prove his point.

The release of the track comes with an upcoming music video that explores the idea of “holding onto the memories of your loved one, even when you know it’s time to let go.” Directed by frequent collaborator Toothless (who also helmed the MV of SB19’s “Bazinga), the visuals bring Cullen’s ideas to life and expand on his initial concept with an element of mystery and an understated delivery.

It also stars KAIA members Angela and Charice, who happen to be the main characters in the MV. The two multi-talented artists also dabbled into acting prior to their debut as a P-Pop artist.

Cullen shares, “When I was planning out the music video for ‘Pakiusap Lang,’ I knew I wanted to create a story that was emotional and impactful. As I was brainstorming ideas, I thought about the possibility of incorporating plot twists into the video, to really capture the viewer’s attention. That’s when I had the idea to feature KAIA members Angela and Charice in the video. I had worked with them before and knew that they would bring a lot of talent and creativity to the project. Plus, their presence in the video would add an extra layer of intrigue and excitement for viewers. It was a pleasure to work with such talented and dedicated individuals, and I couldn’t be happier with how the video turned out.”

The upcoming debut EP from Josh Cullen will include the song “Pakiusap Lang” and be made available this year. The young multihyphenate claims that the album’s first single, which was produced, conceptualized, and improved by his cousin Ocho, sounds like a combination of hip-hop and pop music. “You can expect a mix of different sounds and genre influences, but overall, it’s a reflection of my journey as an artist and a person,” Cullen continues.
