In Time for Lent, Panda Express® Introduces Kung Pao Fish

When you think your food options during Lent are restricted, Panda Express®, the world’s largest American Chinese eating franchise, has you covered with delectable selections like Kung Pao Fish, its newest savory dish. This seafood-based option, which will be offered on the menu starting March 11 and is exclusively made for Panda Express in the Philippines, will be available for a short time only.

“Filipinos love to add variety to their meals and fish is among their top choices. Whether guests are abstaining from eating red meat during lent or just looking for seafood options, Panda’s newest dish, Kung Pao Fish, is a delicious and filling entree that our loyal guests should try,” said Nina Niguidula, Panda Express Marketing Manager.

Kung Pao Fish is inspired by a classic Panda entrée, Kung Pao Chicken. It is a classic American Chinese dish with Sichuan flavors, packed with vegetables, spices and different textures. Panda Express puts its own unique spin on the dish by using lightly breaded boneless fish, a wide variety of freshly cut vegetables along with crunchy peanuts, all tossed in a flavorful sauce with a kick.

All participating Panda Express outlets, including Don Antonio and SM North EDSA in Quezon City, SM Megamall in Mandaluyong, SM Grand Central in Caloocan, Robinsons Place Mall in Manila, and Double Dragon Meridian Park in Pasay, will offer this new menu addition.

Apart from Kung Pao Fish, customers can choose from a wide range of plant and seafood-based meals to suit their dietary preferences. Fresh eggplants, bell peppers, and protein-rich tofu are wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce in Panda’s Eggplant Tofu, a must-try dish. Honey Walnut Shrimp, made with giant tempura-battered shrimp, wok-tossed in a sweet honey sauce, and topped with glazed walnuts, is another guest favorite.

So, what exactly are you waiting for Order.pandaexpress.com.ph, GrabFood, or foodpanda for dine-in, take-out, or delivery of the rich taste of American Chinese delicacies.
