Visit the 18th Padday na Lima Regional Trade Fair to Experience the Fusion of Beauty and Bounty in the Cagayan Valley!

Discover the abundance of Cagayan Valley’s natural riches from September 10–16, 2024, at Festival Mall Alabang in Muntinlupa City, during the 18th Padday na Lima Regional Trade Fair. “Unveiling the Richness of Cagayan Valley’s Lands and Seas, A Fusion of Beauty and Bounty” is this year’s fair theme, which features a wide range of products from the area. A wide variety of the region’s products from its varied agricultural and aquatic resources will be on display for fairgoers to enjoy.

Padday na Lima has long served as a breeding ground for the expansion of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), maximizing their full potential for economic and social development in addition to promoting goods, tourism, and investment prospects in the area. A vast range of products, including farm produce, processed foods, aquatic and fisheries products, native delicacies, garden plants, fashion and wearables, furniture, and handicrafts, are brought to the fair by one hundred MSMEs and farmers this year. Visitors will get a sense of the region’s products as well as travel and investment opportunities by visiting pavilions that highlight each of the provinces: Quirino, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya.

Providing supplementary promotion and marketing strategies for Region 2 farmers and MSMEs is at the heart of Padday na Lima. Part of this thrust is to bring together Region 2 producers and Manila-based consumers, in hopes of paving the way for sustainable and favorable partnerships. Padday na Lima is the ultimate destination for connection, commerce, and celebration without going through the arduous journey of travelling northwards to Cagayan Valley.

Enchanted Kingdom honors contemporary bravery and Filipino talent at the Agilakas Gumalaw Dancing Competition in 2024

On August 24, in the Spaceport Grounds, Enchanted Kingdom—the first and only world-class theme park in the Philippines—held the 2024 Agilakas Gumalaw Dancing Competition as a mystical ode to our contemporary heroes.

Every year in EK, the Agilakas Gumalaw Dancing Competition brings together the nation’s best dancers to showcase their exceptional skill. Ten (10) amazing dance groups performed on stage this year to demonstrate to the world that “Pinoy, Magaling Ka!”

The NU Dance Company from Sampaloc, Manila highlighted the rich, dynamic Filipino culture through their winning performance. The group clinched the grand winner title and bagged Php 20,000, twenty (20) return passes to EK, and a chance to perform in one of EK’s upcoming events.

NEW BREEDZ from Muntinlupa City and League of Monsters-Brothass from Calamba City, Laguna also took home cash prizes and tickets along with the runner-up titles.

Rising P-Pop boy group sensation BILIB spiced up the night with a mesmerizing performance of their newest music along with their rendition of popular P-Pop hits. The show also featured its judges, G-Force member Myka Espina Gonzaga and internet personality Xai Smith, as they turned up the heat by showing off their amazing dance moves on the EK stage.

Taking part in the celebration of Buwan ng Wika this August, EK brings back BAYANI, its original musical production featuring OPM songs with their very own Cast Members performing. This year’s installment of the musical follows the story of Joana Makabayan in her journey of self-discovery as she joins the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

The musical show will run until September 15 from Fridays to Sundays, 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Eldar’s Theater.

The grand launch event, “Love Above All 2024,” marked Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center’s fourth anniversary. It was a spectacular celebration held at The Elements At Centris, and featured motivational speeches, performances, and the much-anticipated reveal of their latest initiatives. The evening was a testament to the brand’s unwavering commitment to self-love, empowerment, and giving back to the community.

A Night of Memories and Milestones

The gorgeous emcees, Allan Dale Alojipan and Ric Abasola, who are also Dear Self’s brand ambassadors, generously hosted the event. Their captivating style and dynamic presence set the mood for the evening. They took the audience through an evening that celebrated fresh starts, had emotional moments, and magnificent performances.

It is such a great experience to have witnessed the 4th anniversary celebration of one of my trusted partners in beauty and glow, none other than Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center. During the event we acquired a lot of knowledge about them, and it was such a great day for everyone witnessing how they embody their mission and fulfill their dreams with us.

The highlight of the evening was the official launch of the “Love Above All” TV commercial, a first in the history of Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center. Mr. Kenneth Tecson, the Chief Marketing Officer, shared the inspiration behind the commercial, emphasizing its deeper meaning beyond mere advertising.

“Hindi ito basta commercial lang—ito ang kwento na sumasalamin sa bawat isa sa atin, at sa bawat isa na naniniwala at sumusuporta sa likod ng Dear Self. Kwento natin ito. This isn’t just a commercial; it’s our story,” Kenneth expressed with pride. He elaborated on the use of the artistic concept of chiaroscuro in the commercial, symbolizing the duality of life and the journey of self-discovery. “Love Above All” isn’t just a theme anymore; it has become a philosophy that has guided us through every decision, every challenge, and every success.”

Following Kenneth’s powerful message, madam Krystal Tecson-Garalde, Chief Executive Officer, took the stage to deliver an inspiring speech centered around the core value of love. Krystal shared how love has been the driving force behind the brand since its inception, transforming it from a family venture into a community-focused mission.

“Dear Self Aesthetic and Wellness Center was founded on the belief that when you love yourself, you have more love to give to others.
