The launch was graced by notable vloggers and content creators who were also signed as OPPO’s newest ambassadors, including actors Gabbi Garcia and Mikael Daez, fashion and lifestyle personality LaureenUy, and globe-trotting adventurer Daniel Marsh. OPPO Reno 2 Specs

For someone who uses video sharing through different social media platforms to express their thoughts while exercising creativity, the OPPO Reno 2 has improved features to support you in what you do.

Oppo Reno 2 stands out a bit thanks to its shark fin pop-up camera module. At the front, the smartphone sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display and has thin bezels all around. The shark fin module on the Reno 2 swivels up to reveal the selfie camera. This module also houses the secondary microphone and the earpiece. The frame of the Reno 2 has a thin grille at the top to allow sound from the earpiece to pass through.

Reno series from Oppo is camera-centric, and the Reno 2 packs good hardware. OPPO Launches A9 2020 in Ph – Specs and Price Revealed

One of the best-selling mobile phone brands in the Philippines just released a new midranger and everyone has their eyes on it. OPPO has been quietly cooking its newest A-series flagship in the form of A9 2020 which it officially introduced on Thursday, September 19.

Just in time for the holiday season, people can easily afford the all-new OPPO A9 2020 as it comes in a decent price tag of P15,990. And at this price, you get a pretty exterior with colors of the nature, grand total of 5 cameras, and a very solid chipset.

When you look at the A9 2020, you will see familiar design elements as it looks very similar as the OPPO R17. Although it also incorporated some new thing like its unique gradient finish which you can see on the back of the phone. Unfortunately, the case is still made out of plastic when other phones in this range are already on scratch-resistant glass bodies.

At the bottom part of the OPPO A9 2020, you will see the 3.5mm jack for your headset. At the rear is the quad-camera setup with three of the cameras arranged vertically in-line and the fourth placed just slightly below the LED flash.

As always, OPPO has camera features that can compete with Samsung and Apple with its rear cams having 48-megapixel with high-resolution sensor and f/1.8 aperture lens; 8-megapixel wide-angle lens; 2-megapixel “portrait” lens; and a 2-megapixel mono lens.

It’s not clear how the camera app will automatically switch into these cams and at what settings but the mono lens may just be used for dedicated monochrome sensor for additional information.

Apart from that, this new OPPO phone uses the new Ultra Night Mode 2.0 technology of the brand that’s supposedly vastly improved over the previous iteration. And the 5th camera is located at the front which boasts 16-megapixel resolution embedded in a water-drop notch.

When it comes to the screen, you’ll get a 6.5-inch, HD+ IPS display with bezels that are relatively slim for a mid-range phone.

Going to the inner specs, A9 2020 uses Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 665 chipset which is already used by most phones in the mid-range bracket. More interestingly, OPPO A9 runs on 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that you can expand further with an added microSD. This for me is the most impressive as not all mid-range phones have 8GB of RAM. This is fast and could support full entertainment activities, most especially gaming.

And you don’t have to worry that you’ll die out soon when you use it for gaming or video streaming and video conferencing. The OPPO A9 2020 has a massive 5000mAh battery which can last for 8-10 hours of continuous use. And finally, this phone uses the USB Type-C charging as well as reverse charging.

But there are things that are hard to verbalize… and this is when art comes in,” says Treb in the video. Often, making art accessible and relatable to people requires the use of technology. “Technology is moving really fast and the only way to survive is to use it.”  Dex, who developed a character called Garapata, says it is important for art to have meaning. “Whatever I create, I’ll always give it meaning. In Daryl and Andre Chang’s cut, the siblings explain why “creativity is about remaking the ordinary to extraordinary”. “When you like to create, you always get inspired no matter what. He adds that he hopes to foster the growth of the fashion industry through their art. “I’m inspired by the unexpected. The future is an open possibility,” says Daryl.

OPPO Reno Takes Creativity in Beauty Beyond Face Value

This will be the third leg of the pop-up exhibit featuring immersive art installations, with activities and interactive spaces especially dedicated to the Reno Sunset Rose colorway. Through a partnership with M·A·C, OPPO sets out to illustrate the artistry and skill of makeup artists and bringing it to life with the perfect headshot. Since everybody loves a stunning photo-one that combines great looks, stunning backdrops, and perfect lighting that capture the interplay of art and technology.

With the vision of showcasing creativity in beauty beyond face value, OPPO is collaborating with cosmetics powerhouse M·A·C for a beauty workshop to be integrated into the Reno Collective Pop-Up Art Exhibit this August 17-18 at SM Mega Fashion Hall. For this highly-anticipated workshop, celebrity makeup artists RB Chanco and Sylvina Lopez will doll up several girls from the Reno Collective with M·A·C, using their creative vision to create looks inspired by the limited edition OPPO Reno in Sunset Rose.

The workshop will allow participants to learn the creative process behind applying makeup from professional artists and use the same techniques to recreate the OPPO Reno in Sunset Rose look using M·A·C products and will be open to the public with limited accommodations of 20 slots, all at a first come, first served basis. This furthers an already successful four-year alliance with the world-famous team, which is now the longest running partnership between a Chinese brand and a European football club. An already successful partnership

THE GROUNDBREAKING TECH INNOVATIONS OF OPPO’S NEW CHANG’AN R&D CENTER

OPPO announced at a ground-breaking ceremony that it will establish a new research and development center in China’s Chang’an Town, Dongguan, Guangdong Province, as it accelerates its push to boost Research and Development capabilities. The new facilities, along with the company’s existing R&D centers, will form a robust research engine that powers OPPO’s continued innovation for the emerging era of intelligent connectivity.

OPPO’s new Chang’an R&D center, as one of Dongguan’s major initiatives to drive the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, is expected to house 5,000 R&D personnel upon completion.

“We are very pleased to officially break ground on OPPO’s new Chang’an R&D center. It will play a strategic role in OPPO’s R&D endeavors, further enhancing the core technological capabilities of the company and accelerating the implementation of our R&D strategy and objectives.The project will be built to the highest industrial standards and we will spare no effort in making the new R&D center a masterpiece initiative in the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, helping to bolster the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,” OPPO Vice President, Eric Zhu shared.

OPPO will spend RMB 10 Billion (approx. Php75 Billion) on R&D this year. As a global R&D engine for the company, OPPO’s new Chang’an R&D center will be responsible for the R&D, design and testing of a vast range of smart devices, including smartphones and IoT products. The R&D will support OPPO’s mission of providing cutting-edge smart devices and services for the era of intelligent connectivity.

OPPO’s new Chang’an R&D center, designed by top global architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and in partnership with dozens of professional consultants, will cover an area of approximately 123.5 mu (roughly 82,000 square meters) and will consist of 10 all-glass towers, including offices, a talent development center, an R&D center, a mobile internet research center, and a testing center. Standing at 249.5 meters tall, the landmark office tower, upon completion, will represent a spectacular fixture of Dongguan’s skyline.
