Asia Pacific Operations will change its brand to Fujifilm this April 2021
Announcement was made last November 5, 2020. The Asia Pacific Operations will alter their brand into Fujifilm, and Fuji Xerox Co. will also become FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corp. next year in the month of April. The changes partake as the Asia Pacific Company decided to stop their compliance with Xerox Company as their partnership is about to end on March 31, 2021. Having a Technology Agreement gives way to the technology/ brand licenses and sales territories relevant to each company.
The company of Fuji Xerox and Xerox Corporation has been already sharing their technologies that each company has made. The Fuji Xerox was already developing the speed and level of their products for many years and had established its own technologies. In this case, Fuji Xerox can evenly manage to keep on producing the same product with the same quality with the use of their own technologies even after the end of their Technology Agreement with Xerox Corporation.
Fuji Xerox assure to give their assistance and maintenance as well as full managed print services to their client in their full execution as what they have agreed in their contract, without worrying to the upcoming expiration to the Technology Agreement with Xerox Corporation.
With the practical knowledge over time and with customer’s approval, Fuji Xerox wants to have its faster innovation with the help of other companies in the Fujifilm group by increasing the Market Introduction of solutions and services that construct on technologies related to the cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of things. Also, Fuji Xerox will work quickly to reinforce its document and adjacent businesses as well as to widen into the latest business innovations by promoting the use and giving of knowledge that will make the office workers to further elevate their productive capacity and work efficiency.
Additionally, Japan sales department and all 31 domestic sales subsidiaries with Fuji Xerox interfiled will merge as one to start a new company, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Japan Corp. on April 1, 2021.
The corporate’s new name constitutes Fuji Xerox’s commitment as a member of the Fujifilm Group- on the other hand promoting “Value from Innovation” as its corporate slogan- to expand more to a wider range of areas and always going forward and would not stop to deliver business innovations.
