Travel to many places and make new Experiences

As we face this new year we have a lot of things that we want to shade in our bucket list and one of these is traveling and experience new site. However in our new normal is it possible for us to do it? While certain areas are approved for travel, always make sure you have your travel documentation with you and ensure that safety procedures are followed so that you can make your 2021 “Ride to New Places” resolution a reality! 2021 is about choosing the correct way to be happy and to live.

As the pandemic presented us with lessons to remember, it also gave us the chance to live beyond what we used to do. The complacency of living the normal way of doing things was detached from it. And it also encouraged the ladies to discover the leisure of motorcycle riding beyond the normal way of spending their weekend!

Last January 24, the OMG Lady Squad Riders explored another town in Batangas after their last ride in December at The Old Grove in Lipa.   These Lady Riders’desire to relax, rode around 100km travelling the roads of Batangas to Agoncillo. This is quite a long ride, especially for ladies who are mostly afraid to face large vehicles and highways.  And since going to Bali isn’t too possible yet, these ladies discovered a new site in Batangas known as the “Bali of Batangas” located in Villa Jovita in Agoncillo, Batangas.

Long ride need lots of confidence, when asked what makes her confident in riding a motorcycle, Carol said, “I am confident because I was taught to practice road courtesy and discipline. I always bear this in mind, because I want to enjoy travelling alone and with friends.”

Elvie, a rider for 5 months, also shared her interest in riding. “I want to inspire those ladies who are afraid to ride and tell them, kung kaya ko, kaya morin! You just have to have the confidence in riding with a great partner on the road. That is why I bought Genio as my first bike, and this buddy already took me to Bicol safe and sound.”

The visit to Villa Jovita makes you one with nature. It has the relaxing view of the bamboos and spring, while you also feel the Balinese touch of the resort.  Krizel, a single rider who started to ride a motorcycle for 1 year, shared  “My Genio gave me the freedom to ride everywhere with the looks that I love. Mahiligakosa classic look na motor, kaya inabangan ko naagad ang paglabasnitongGenio. This ride to Agoncillo will be an addition to my bucket list in exploring nature with my Genio.”

Group rides can also be an alternative to enjoy nature with friends in a more interesting way.  Madonna, another Genio rider, says  “Iba ang sayanakasama ang grupo.  I can explore with my Genio everywhere and every placenahindi ko pa napupuntahan.   Yung height and its comfort is perfect for my daily and long ride.”

These OMG Lady Squad took off at Honda’s 3s Shop in Motortrade Topline, Inc., Tanauan and made a stop-over in Elite Motorbikes Corp in Taal, and Honda Prestige Traders, Inc. in Lemeryas they traverse the roads of Batangas to take pride of their Genio motorcycles.

The Honda Genio is another motorcycle of Honda Philippines, Inc. that has qualities perfect for lady riders especially for beginners, because of its light weight and safety features.  Fulfilling a dream for the riders is in line with the Honda’s “ONE DREAM” campaign.

“Do It”, Elha Nympha new soulful single with maintain confidence

Elha Nympha

Her comeback single “Do It”, Elha Nympha arrives with both finesse and maturity under MCA Music Inc. and out on all digital platforms worldwide. Now exploring a more sophisticated take on R&B, pop, and neo-soul, the former champion of The Voice Kids Season 2 reasserts confidence and sass in delivering a romantic confession that appeals beyond her particular demographic.

When she sings, “Come on over a little closer / Take me where I’ve never been,” she takes full control of the quiet storm brewing: her voice fluttering effortlessly over dreamy arrangements and soft keyboard tones, taking the spotlight with ease.

“Do It” is a suave R&B jam that tackles the beauty of taking bolder steps when it comes to love. Upon hearing the song for the first time, Elha got excited to record the material as it barely sounds like anything she’s recorded in the past. “I’m happy with where the direction of my music is going,” the 16-year-old star said in a statement. “Do Itunravels a more vulnerable side of my artistry, and this is exactly the kind of music that I want to keep making—something that is young and current, but very much me.”

“Do It” has earned comparisons with the likes of SZA, Jhené Aiko, and H.E.R., embracing the fundamental agency of womanhood and young love in all its messiness and glory. While Elha is elated with the feedback that she’s been getting from her mentors and music listeners, she wants to forge a path of her own and make music that is distinctly a product of her own sense of style and adventurousness. The promising pop sensation admits, “As a fan, I can definitely see myself doing the same kind of music. But there’s more to my sound than being pigeonholed into a category. For now, I’m ready for where this journey would take me, musically. I’m definitely looking forward to creating something that is original and unique.”

At present, she’s one of the performers of the longest-running Sunday variety show, ASAP Natin To.

Motorcyle is Enjoyable Because you can Gain a lot of Friends

Airblade Riders Club Philippines, Inc.

In Tanauan, Batangas- This “new normal” gives individuals more ways to do their different chores and still stay connected with their love ones during this trying times. Many thanks to this new technology for it help us get in touch by the used of this digital tools like video conferencing, we can still communicate even being far from each other.

But since no man is an island, face-to-face interactions remain inevitable. For Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI), the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines, motorcycles are among the many “new normal” tools that safely bring people together.

Motorcycles became essential tools in the “new normal” as they serve as a mode of transportation. They also make traveling during the quarantine conveniently and safely. Another benefit a motorcycle gives to riders is meeting new people and building camaraderie amid these difficult times. HPI shows us some of these instances, where connections between motorcycle riders helped themselves and the community.

Motorcycle Clubs

The number of motorcycle riders in the country started to grow through the years, consequently developing numerous motorcycle clubs in different parts of the country. These clubs helped riders share tips and tricks for their rides, build relationships through their shared love for motorcycles, and surprisingly help communities through charity.

Despite the pandemic’s restrictions, motorcycles helped riders build a sense of community without worrying about getting sick since their safety gear also protects them from possible contact from the virus and the motorcycle’s ability to distance itself from others.

Motorcycle riding can allow people to safely ride solo, but it can also give them various riding buddies to help them through thick and thin. Just because you are riding solo does not mean you have to go through every hardship alone.

Social Media

Genio Club of the Philippines

Delivery couriers from food delivery apps and e-commerce websites gave people staying at home the convenience of having their daily needs without going out and risking their own safety. And since the start of the quarantine, motorcycle riders started providing their services to people without access to these delivery apps and websites.

Social media became a tool for motorcycle riders through groups like Bayanihan groups and buy-n-sell pages to help local microbusinesses deliver homemade food or sell other items and people needing to get certain essentials like milk for babies or products purchased online that needs to be picked up.

Riders become go-to couriers for people in need of couriers, which further widens their connections and relationships. Social media also helps them stay in touch with other riders since motorcycle groups began developing online for updates, meetups, and charity work.

Before the pandemic, HPI used to hold Riders’ Conventions around the country, but since it is not recommended today, riders can join motorcycle clubs like Honda Genio Club of the Philippines,Honda Supra GTR150 Philippines, Honda AirBlade150 Team Red, AirBlade Riders Club Philippines, Inc. and other local Honda clubs around you. The company recognizes the importance of motorcycles in people’s lives as an investment and as an instrument to help each other and further grow the community, especially during these times of uncertainty.

Honda AirBlade150 Team Red

HPI has dedicated its services to create a wide array of motorcycles for every Filipino. This is in line with the company’s “ONE DREAM” campaign, which aims to fulfill their dream through the joy of mobility provided by motorcycles.

Making Martial Arts a Part of Everyday Life: The Physical and Mental Benefits of Training According to Team Lakay

Over the past few years, people all across the globe have increasingly turned to martial arts as their primary fitness option. It’s no longer just a sport, but also a viable alternative to traditional gym.

In fact, some of the greatest martial artists in the world can attest to the very many benefits martial arts has on human life.

Reigning ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua “The Passion” Pacio and former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, both members of the famed Team Lakay of Baguio City, Philippines, can say with confidence that martial arts has had a positive effect on their lives.

“Learning martial arts has molded me into a better person. I was a very different Joshua Pacio 15 years ago, before I took up martial arts. And this is because of the core values that martial arts taught me, and of course, because of the people who guided me on my journey,” said Pacio.

“Martial arts principles help us in our everyday lives with how we approach people and relationships. It teaches us to apply discipline in all aspects of our lives, and of course, self-control mentally, physically, and emotionally.”

Today, Pacio is one of the most talented martial artists in the industry. He’s reached the pinnacle of the sport through hard work and dedication to his craft. Because martial arts improved not just his professional career, but also his personal life, Pacio urges everyone to practice martial arts.

“Some people may have the misconception that MMA is a brutal sport. But believe me, it will change your life. When you take up martial arts, you learn it’s not just about punching and kicking. That’s just part of it. The lessons go deeper than that. Martial arts will make you a better version of yourself,” said Pacio.

“The main thing for me is developing self-discipline. When you have self-discipline, everything else follows. It will reflect in your attitude and work ethic. In the famous words of Kung Fu Panda, ‘there is no secret ingredient, it’s just you.’ This means everything is up to you. So just enjoy what you’re doing, and don’t quit. When you get tired, take a rest, and then go again. Just don’t quit.”

Eustaquio, on the other hand, notes how martial arts is a holistic fitness undertaking, one that unites the mind, body, and spirit. He shares the same sentiments as his younger teammate.

“Martial arts has played a very big role in my life. It has gotten me through some difficult times. There are times that I get frustrated with different things, but I just go to the gym, sweat it out and leave the gym free-spirited after,” said Eustaquio,

“You learn something new everyday. Last year, it helped me to become more mentally tough during the pandemic. I was constantly motivated and found different ways to stay active. When the mind is healthy, the body is healthy, and the spirit is healthy. Martial arts is my way of life.”

“Martial arts taught me that nothing is impossible,” Eustaquio concluded.

ONE Championship returns this Friday night, 5 February with ONE: UNBREAKABLE III, a previously recorded event from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore. In the main event, former ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex continues on her quest for a historic third world title. She puts her unblemished professional MMA record on the line against Ukrainian grappler Alyona Rassohyna.

One of those guidelines is to be at home to avoid unwanted contact with people. However this is a chance for you to do your goal to be fit by just being in the comfort of your home. You can simply start your fitness goals this year.

The point is, clients can do a number of stuff at home, particularly with the rise of internet services provided by fitness centers to suit your needs.

Though some of these health clubs, including the Santé Fitness Lab, a premier fitness laboratory, are now operational,

You can also opt to participate in online workout sessions at a one-stop fitness center in Vermosa, Cavite,

Especially when your area has no fitness programs provided. Any other services and goods. Services will also help you lead a healthy lifestyle and live better and do more throughout your path in life, more.

Are you in need of more? Take it from these two kick-ass people who have accomplished their health objectives in quarantine at home.

Reclaiming Self-Esteem

Body positivity was still evoked by Jayson Francisco, 24. He is also encircled by supporting people like his mom and dad, who have been considered his best friends since he was born. Jayson finds still, the greatest thing that has ever happened is being with them the next single week during the lockdowns. He wanted to challenge himself by entering a fitness program at the outset of his quarantine. To lead a healthy lifestyle, organized by his church mates.

I still needed to lose weight,” he said. “I finally fell in love when I joined the fitness party. With the schedule of the exercise and the improvements I have made in my food habits.

Jayson even claimed that by the moment he was 30, he didn’t like being overweight. So, he made sure his elevated interval training (HIIT), composed primarily of workouts, made sure not to skip, these include push-ups, mountain climbs, squats, jumping jacks, sit-ups for jumping, among many others.

I decided to lift weights after reaching my target (75kg). So, last November 2019 and 140kg. I weighed 75 kg in September last year, 136 kg last February 2020. It was difficult to do the workout at home, especially because you’re close to the comforts of your bed. But if you’re well-motivated, I’m motivated and while working out next to your bed, make sure you can do it,” he said.

Challenging yourself to be better

The 26-year-old Justine Castillo could not agree more. Her motivation for weight management is more about having to challenge herself to be better. Her urge to lose weight emerged when she took the pandemic brought uncertainties as a challenge to prove herself that she can be fit and fit. Even if she is trapped at home, it’s safe.

I did aerobic exercises at first, and then I concentrated on the part of the body that I want to improve, such as my legs, arms, and tummy. It is essential to have the workout early in the morning so that you can get used to it every day and achieve your health goals. I also found it difficult to work out at home because I’m used to doing my workout exercises. Also, the equipment I have at home has been just limited. But, as time passes, I have discovered that I can also do workouts at home and make it easier to do them. The accomplishment of my health targets,’ said Tin.

Improving your Diet

Jason and Tin need to improve and change their diet. As for Tin, she cut her intake in sweet, rice, salty food and high- carb intake and aims to take healthier foods. She makes certain to eat a low-carb diet and do intermittent fasting.

According to Tin, “To fulfill my weight goal, I needed to have self-discipline, be consistent in what I do, and to have the right supplement that I need. I start my day by drinking a pre-workout drink like Santé BarleyTM or Santé’sBarliccino coffee. After a workout, I drink Santé’sFitN’Trim juice and have some healthy breakfast, like salad and chicken. I also count the calories I burned during workouts and, of course, be conscious about my calorie intake.”

For Jason, he did what he thought was right in the “calories in, calories out” way of thinking. He stated, “I decided to track my calorie intake per day while making sure that I still get the nutrient I need to sustain my energy. I also drink Santé BarleyTM and FitN’Trim.”

Looking for the right fitness drink

Apart from having a good balance of nutrition and diet. Jason and Tin also think that having light food supplements packed with nutrition is also important to support them with their fitness endeavor. Santé Barley is a pure organic barley grass powdered drink. Blended with one of nature’s most potent sweeteners, Stevia, this product is best taken before meals. It also readily dissolves in water and contains A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, and E (per serving).

Also FitN’Trim is one of the excellent products of Sante’s premier organic health and wellness. It is the best drink to partner during a workout and in a healthy diet. It contains vitamin C and Sante’s signature organic pure barley grass powder certified by BioGro, New Zealand’s leading organic certification agency.

FitN’Trim also has green tea and zest of lemon flavor, mixed with L Carnitine that help prevent fast metabolism and decreasing body fat. It also contains calcium to help sustain strong bones and teeths and protein to support muscle growth and maintenance, magnesium to aid in muscle and nerve function, dietary fiber to aid digestive health and fiber and zinc that helps the immune system.

Jayson said everything that boils down to your desire to achieve your goal, for those preparing to begin their fitness journey. He remembered that three years ago, he enrolled himself in a gym fitness program. A tiny freebie shirt made him believe that he could reach his ideal weight, even though it did not go as expected.

Thus, according to Tin fitness journey begins by believing in yourself.  “Self-discipline, consistency, and choosing the right supplement will also help you achieve your fitness goals,” she added.

At a certain time, my fitness trainer playfully said that if that shirt fits me, then I’m going to be his idol. I saw this same shirt in my closet the other day. Guess what? “My fitness trainer, at that time, jokingly said that if that shirt fits me, then I’ll be his idol. The day before, I saw this same shirt in my closet. Guess what? It fits me now, “It fits me now. What you have learned from this experience is that a time will come when your inspiration will be lost. For sure, maintaining your weight is not an easy feat. Then, on your WHY, you have to be straightforward and let that deliver the HOW.”

Ryuto Sawada Plans to Break Robin Catalan Mentally at ONE: UNBREAKABLE III

ONE Warrior Series contract winner Ryuto “Dragon Boy” Sawada is looking to put on a mental beatdown of opponent Robin “The Ilonggo” Catalan when the two strawweights step back into the Circle.

Sawada and Catalan are set to lock horns at ONE: UNBREAKABLE III, a previously recorded event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore scheduled for global broadcast this Friday, 5 February.

The Japanese stalwart based out of Evolve MMA in Singapore predicts he can break Catalan’s mind before finishing him inside the distance.

“For me, fighting is both physical and mental. You need a strong mind, as well as a strong body. I think he’s the type to get in his own head if he ends up in a bad position. I’ll try to use that to my advantage,” Sawada said.

“I trained hard for this fight, so when I step inside the Circle, I’m ready to give a good performance. I’ll go aggressively from the beginning, and finish the fight in the second or third round.”

Sawada is a winner of four of his last five contests. He got his start in ONE Championship via Rich Franklin’s ONE Warrior Series reality martial arts travel series. Catalan, on the other hand, has won three of his last five, and has been competing in ONE Championship since 2016.

“Dragon Boy” has nothing but respect for Catalan, but at the same time, is still confident he has what it takes to dispatch the 30-year-old Filipino mixed martial arts veteran.

“I think he’s someone that is both capable of striking as well as grappling. He definitely has the ability to finish the fight on his feet or on the ground. I respect all of my opponents. We’ve all been through different journeys to get to this point,” Sawada said.

ONE Championship’s ONE: UNBREAKABLE III once again hosts a series of compelling bouts featuring the world’s best martial artists.

In the main event, former ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion Stamp Fairtex continues on her quest for a historic third world title. She puts her unblemished professional MMA record on the line against Ukrainian grappler Alyona Rassohyna.

Sawada and Catalan are set to do battle on the main card. After dealing with the lockdowns and restrictions of Covid-19 which have affected his training and preparations, Sawada is relieved to be able to step back inside the Circle to compete.

Against Catalan, Sawada says he’s ready to put on a show.

“It has been quite stressful. Even so, I made sure to be prepared for a fight at any moment’s notice. As fighters, we have to be ready always,” Sawada concluded.
