Ben&Ben continues winning streak with “Autumn (Reimagined)”

The acclaimed folk-pop collective transforms a fan favorite into an uplifting anthem of emotional growth and resilience.

Following the commercial success of “Lifetime (Reimagined),” which peaked at No. 1 on both the Official Philippines Chart and Billboard Philippines Hot 100, Ben&Ben returns with “Autumn (Reimagined),” a vital reworking of their beloved 2023 original.

Reimagined with a richer sonic palette, the new version elevates the band’s gold-hued sound with atmospheric textures and soaring instrumentation. The result is a compellingly familiar release that balances emotional weight with fuller arrangements.

Paolo Benjamin adds, “Dinagdagan namin ng mas maraming electric guitars, synth layers, violin lines, at mas madiin na beat yung kanta, para magka-contrast yung bigat ng emotion sa pagka-upbeat ng tugtog.”

Outside of its alt-leaning production, “Autumn (Reimagined)” delivers a mature and vulnerable take on longing, backed by new verses that focus on healing and learning to choose one’s self.

Kung yung Lifetime ay pagluksa sa pag-ibig na di naman nangyari, yung Autumn ay yung pagsubok umusad kahit mahirap,” Paolo shares.

The newly released track is part of an audio bundle containing both the original and reimagined versions of “Autumn” and “Lifetime.” According to the band, the project was intentionally packed as an EP-like release to immerse their fanbase, Liwanag, in a place of “bittersweetness,” reflection, and yearning.

As Paolo puts it, “Sa totoo lang, na-excite lang kaming ituloy yung kwento sa Liwanag, para magkaroon ng mas malalim na kahulugan at mas maraming karamay yung journey ng pagproseso ng emosyon.” He adds, “We hope that they find this song painfully uplifting.”

Ben&Ben’s “Autumn (Reimagined)” is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Entertainment. Watch the lyric video premiering at 6PM today.

Ms. Nylah Rizza Bautista, Assistant Secretary and Supervising Head of Department of Trade and Industry; and Ms. Rungphech “Rose” Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets

Cosmobeauté Philippines 2026, the country’s premier B2B beauty trade show, is set to return for its second edition on June 17–19, 2026 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. Centered on the theme “Celebrating Beauty from Every Perspective: Inspire Innovation, Embrace Diversity and Shape Excellence,” the event highlights its dedication to promoting innovation, inclusivity, and excellence within the rapidly growing beauty industry in the Philippines.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, which attracted more than 6,000 attendees, Cosmobeauté Philippines continues to establish itself as a dynamic platform where business leaders, industry stakeholders, entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, and beauty enthusiasts come together not only for exhibitions, but also for networking opportunities and industry learning.

Cosmobeauté Philippines 2026 shows how the beauty industry continues to grow through innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration. It is inspiring to see a platform where professionals, entrepreneurs, and beauty enthusiasts can connect, learn from one another, and discover new opportunities that can help shape the future of the industry in the Philippines.

The Philippines’ Growing Beauty Industry: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Outlook

In recent years, numerous cosmetics and personal care local brands have emerged and continued to grow, giving the market more beauty products and services to choose from and are tailored to diverse preferences. And with the rise of digitalization alongside, consumers now have easier access to these products and services. According to IMARC Group’s recent report, the beauty and personal care market size has reached $6.7 billion in 2025. And it is expected to grow to $ 11.1 billion in 2034, showing a projected compound annual growth (CAGR) of 5.7% from 2026 to 2034 driven by the growing demand for e-commerce and the influence of social media to the consumers’ behavior, according to market research from Statista.

E-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee remain on top of the online shopping platforms, and with the emergence of TikTok Shop, it has opened many brands with new opportunities to target and connect with their market. The continued demand for beauty-related products and services, this poise opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners who wish to establish their own brands and even strengthen existing businesses. Other sectors such as salons, spas and beauty clinics are on the rise as well driven by the heightened self-care and awareness and prioritizing personal grooming and wellbeing. While the beauty industry is thriving, it may also face difficulties such as market saturation, regulatory compliance, and even meeting evolving consumer behavior and expectations. This is where Cosmobeaute Philippines plays a pivotal role in addressing these challenges by bringing together the industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators to exchange ideas, identify market trends, provide solutions and other best practices that would help the industry face challenges and grow even more.

Innovation, Inclusivity, and Excellence at Cosmobeaute Philippines

This year’s event theme reflects a forward-thinking and inclusive approach to the beauty, personal care, and wellness industries in the Philippines. As these industries continue to evolve rapidly, they inspire and drive greater innovation in product formulation and the development of cutting-edge technologies. Many brands are now shifting towards more sustainable practices and creating inclusive products that cater to a broader market. With these industries projected to grow and market demand increasing, brands have become more cautious and committed to delivering high-quality products, exceptional services, and outstanding customer experiences to remain competitive.

Cosmobeaute Philippines is a B2B trade show that showcases advancements in the beauty market, enabling businesses to stay competitive in the Philippine market and meet consumer expectations. The event also emphasizes the importance of diversity and the country’s multicultural market, which aligns with the growing demand for personalized beauty products and solutions. The event connects manufacturers and trade buyers, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices while encouraging the pursuit of excellence in their businesses.

“The theme this year describes what Cosmobeaute Philippines truly stands for because this is not your typical exhibition, but this is more of celebrating the true meaning of beauty, inspiring innovation, and setting new standards of excellence in the industry,” Ms. Chitanuwat added.

In this edition, Cosmobeaute Philippines continues to collaborate with relevant government agencies and industry partners to ensure the best event experience for its stakeholders. The event is once again a proud partner of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which plays an invaluable role in supporting local businesses, particularly in boosting the beauty and wellness sectors in the country.

This partnership highlights Filipino talent and entrepreneurship, helping them establish a strong position in the globally competitive beauty market. Furthermore, the event is expected to draw increased participation from MSMEs, particularly through the DTI Pavilion, which will feature about 40 exhibitors. This opportunity enables MSMEs to gain visibility, build connections, and establish their presence in the competitive beauty and wellness market. Cosmobeaute Philippines has also served as a steppingstone for the agency to showcase the best of Filipino products on the international stage, most notably at Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong last year. During the event, DTI highlighted businesses that produce cosmetics using coconut products as key ingredients, securing USD 1.0 million in business leads. This achievement is a strong testament to the network-building efforts fostered through the Cosmobeaute brand.

Cosmobeaute Philippines promises to bring back an exciting and relevant lineup of activities during the exhibition, including crowd favorites such as the Bridal Makeup Competition, the Hair and Makeup Competition featuring the theme Pearl of the Orient Seas by the Unified Makeup Artists of the Philippines (UMAP), and the Beautelympics by the Professional Aestheticians Association of the Philippines (PAAP). Located on the ground floor, the store introduces a thoughtfully curated selection of premium hotel amenities and fragrances, bringing the essence of luxury hospitality into everyday rituals.

Marking its debut, The Amenity Studio partners with Conrad Manila for “Heures d’Orange”, an exclusive afternoon tea experience at C Lounge. Inspired by the Hermès Hôtelier Collection, the offering transforms signature scent notes into a refined culinary journey—where fragrance and flavor come together in a seamless, sensory pairing.

Guests are first invited into a fragrance discovery, where they may choose from five Hermès scent testers, each thoughtfully paired with a corresponding tea. Eau d’Orange Verte offers a fresh and uplifting profile, much like Earl Grey; Un Jardin sur la Lagune is vibrant and expressive, just like mango strawberry tea; Eau de Merveilles Bleue is delicate and light, reminiscent of jasmine tea; Eau de Merveilles, presented as a wearable pendant, reveals a warm sweetness alongside chamomile; while Terre d’Hermès brings an earthy depth, complemented by sencha green tea. Curiosity unfolds as guests explore each fragrance—an intimate sensory journey that heightens anticipation for what follows.

The experience continues with a thoughtfully composed menu of savory and sweet selections, each inspired by Hermès fragrances. Savory creations include Un Jardin en Méditerranée (duck prosciutto, fig-orange compote, brioche), Un Jardin sur le Toit (crab meat, green apple, avocado emulsion), Twilly d’Hermès Eau Ginger (tuna, ginger, savory crisps), and Eau de Citron Noir (cucumber, lemon labneh, black lime dust).

Sweet indulgences follow with Eau des Merveilles (orange and praline dark chocolate bonbons), Un Jardin sur le Toit (apple and pear rose choux), Un Jardin sur le Nil (mango rose macaron), and Eau de Pamplemousse Rose (grapefruit and thyme almond tartlets). Completing the experience are freshly baked scones, including classic buttermilk and Eau d’Orange Verte (orange peel buttermilk scones).

Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines 2026 connect modernization efforts with sustainable practices to advance industry growth

Photo shows from left: MR. MICHAEL DE JOYA GARCIA, Assistant Secretary for Swine and Poultry of Department of Agriculture; MS. RUNGPHECH CHITANUWAT, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines; and DR. BENJAMIN ALBARECE. Assistant Secretary for Ruminants of Department of Agriculture

Livestock Philippines, a premier international B2B trade show for the livestock and poultry sectors, will take place alongside Aquaculture Philippines from June 24–26, 2026 at the World Trade Center. The co-located events are expected to gather around 300 local and international exhibitors presenting cutting-edge solutions and technologies, along with approximately 11,000 visitors representing various segments of the livestock and aquaculture industries.

Hosted in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, this year’s theme—“Modern Farming Practices, Bountiful Harvests: The Future of Livestock and Aquaculture”—highlights the urgent need for modernization and the adoption of sustainable, efficient, and forward-looking farming and aquaculture practices. It underscores the importance of strengthening food security, boosting economic development, supporting resilient livelihoods, and protecting the environment. The theme also positions the events as key platforms for innovation, learning, and collaboration, helping drive progress across the livestock and aquaculture sectors.

This highlights how the livestock and aquaculture industries are continuously evolving, making it essential to keep up with modern practices. It shows that innovation and technology play a key role not only in improving productivity but also in promoting sustainability. It also emphasizes the importance of these industries in ensuring food security and supporting livelihoods, especially in a growing country. Overall, it reflects the value of collaboration between the government and private sectors in creating a more resilient and future-ready agricultural system.

The agricultural economy is one of the key drivers of the Philippines’ economic growth, with the livestock, poultry, and aquaculture sectors serving as major contributors. These industries are vital for rural livelihoods, the food supply chain, and overall economic development. Meat consumption continues to rise due to the growing population and increasing demand for meat products in the market. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the livestock and poultry sectors accounted for 33.4% of total agricultural production in 2025, while aquaculture has shown steady growth, contributing significantly to the industry. There are also promising opportunities to explore, such as the Philippines’ position as a major producer of seaweed and its potential for exporting seafood, poultry, and processed meat products.

However, despite these opportunities, the livestock and aquaculture industries face several pressing challenges that must be addressed to ensure sustainable growth. Climate change and environmental risks, such as rising temperatures, water pollution, and unpredictable weather conditions, are disrupting farming production. Animal health remains a critical issue, with biosecurity and disease management being central to combating outbreaks of diseases like African Swine Fever (ASF) and Avian Influenza (AI), which threaten livestock and poultry production. Additionally, the rising costs of essentials such as feed, feed ingredients, fuel, tools, and equipment are putting significant pressure on profit margins. These financial strains could lead to major hurdles in infrastructure development and market access in the long term, further complicating the industry’s path to sustainable growth.

This is where Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture take center stage as the events cater to providing actionable solutions to these industry challenges while helping discover new opportunities for business growth and innovation. By bringing together key industry players and leaders, technology providers, government agencies, farmers and fisherfolks, the events ignite strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing which are all essential for addressing these critical industry challenges.

This year, Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines co-locate with PhilEnergy, Informa Markets’ B2B event for the energy sector. This strategic move aims to address overlapping industries in agriculture and energy, such as the conversion of livestock waste into energy, biogas, biomass, and renewable energy solutions. The events highlight shared interests in sustainable farming practices, water management systems, aquaculture technologies, and energy-efficient equipment for agricultural operations. By integrating these sectors, the events provide added value to both exhibitors and visitors, creating opportunities to attract potential customers and forge partnerships across multiple industries.

During the events, expect to see technical seminars and conferences that drive discussions on a variety of topics such as innovations in disease prevention and biosecurity, farming and aquaculture practices, and technology role in improving both productivity and sustainability. Some of the industry partners like the Department of Agriculture take lead on crafting insightful conferences while some exhibitors are ready to position themselves as thought leaders in various technical seminars. The second day of the event features the much-anticipated Aquaculture Conference, where prominent speakers in the aquaculture industry will spark engaging conversations on the latest trends and innovative best practices.

In this edition, the organizer introduces Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-accredited seminars, hosted by the Philippine Society of Animal Nutritionists (PHILSAN) and the Philippine Association of Agriculturists, Inc. (PAA). These seminars will cover a wide range of topics, including sustainable farming practices, advanced nutrition strategies, and more. As Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines continue to uphold their commitment to building knowledge and expertise, accredited learning opportunities. Additionally, for the first time, the One Health Solutions for Sustainable Livestock Production Forum will be held, featuring international speakers who will discuss impactful solutions and health-oriented livestock systems. This forum further reinforces the dedication to driving innovation and sustainability in the livestock and aquaculture industries.

Before the main event, exhibitors, industry peers, and friends from various networks are invited to participate in the Livestock Philippines Golf Fellowship Game on June 23, 2026, at Hallow Ridge Filipinas Golf Inc. This pre-event activity aims to foster stronger connections and camaraderie through a friendly golf competition in anticipation of the main event. Another must-attend activity is the Livestock Philippines Recognition, which will take place on the evening of June 24, 2026. During this event, nominated and carefully screened groups, associations, cooperatives, or individuals who have made significant contributions to the livestock and aquaculture industries will be honored, with support from the Department of Agriculture.

Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines remain steadfast in their commitment to serving as a transformative platform that empowers the livestock, poultry, aquaculture, and related sectors to embrace innovation, sustainability, and foster stronger partnerships and collaborations. In line with this, Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines will host their first-ever regional event in Cebu from November 11–19, 2026, at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, covering the Visayas region and nearby provinces. This milestone is a significant step in driving industry forward and ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for stakeholders across the country.

Admission is free, and industry trade buyers are encouraged to attend in June by registering through this link: https://ers-ph.informa-info.com/lsp26.

The Beverage Industry Association of the Philippines marks its 38th anniversary as the unified voice of the beverage sector

BIAP member companies at the celebration of association’s 38th anniversary last April 22 in Makati City.

At a time when the beverage industry is dealing with changing regulations, growing sustainability expectations, and evolving consumer preferences, collaboration is more crucial than ever.

For nearly four decades, the Beverage Industry Association of the Philippines has fulfilled this role by uniting the country’s leading beverage manufacturers under a shared purpose. As it celebrates its 38th year, BIAP continues to serve as an important platform for an industry that remains a steady part of everyday Filipino life.

A unified voice in a changing industry

From bottled water and fruit juices to soft drinks and energy beverages, the Philippine beverage industry is present in everyday moments across the country. Beyond what consumers see on shelves, it is also a major driver of manufacturing activity, employment, and economic contribution.

Established and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 28, 1988, BIAP was created to unite companies across this diverse landscape, providing a platform where industry players could collaborate, align, and engage on issues that shape both business and society.

In this evolving environment, no single company can effectively address industry-wide challenges alone. BIAP helps bridge this gap by enabling dialogue among its members and building consensus on key issues. This allows the industry to work more constructively with government and other stakeholders, and to contribute to policies that are balanced, practical, and responsive to broader economic needs.

Strengthening standards and shared progress

Beyond coordination, BIAP also plays an important role in promoting quality, safety, and integrity across the industry. Through good manufacturing practices, voluntary standards, and a shared code of ethics, the association helps ensure that products consistently meet expectations for quality and safety.

This has strengthened alignment on responsible practices, from product quality and safety to operational standards that support long-term sustainability, contributing to a more consistent and reliable beverage landscape.

Over the years, BIAP has also strengthened coordination on key policy and regulatory developments affecting the sector. As a platform for dialogue between manufacturers and the government, it helps ensure that industry perspectives are considered in discussions on taxation, product standards, and broader manufacturing policies.

It also provides a platform for knowledge sharing through seminars, workshops, and technical exchanges, while sharing relevant information to keep both members and the public informed about industry developments.

Continuing its role in the sector

BIAP’s strength lies in the diversity and leadership of its member companies, which include ARC Refreshments Corporation, Asia Brewery, Inc., Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, Coca-Cola Philippines, Del Monte Philippines, PepsiCo, Inc., Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc., Mondelez Philippines, Nestlé Philippines, San Miguel Corporation, Universal Robina Corporation,  Vouno Trade & Marketing Services and Philippine Spring Water Resources Inc. Together, these companies represent a broad cross-section of the beverage landscape, combining global expertise with strong local roots.

Leading the association is the association’s President, Atty. Juan Lorenzo Tañada, who also serves as Head of Public Affairs and Communications for Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines. Under his leadership, BIAP continues to function as a platform for industry coordination and engagement with key stakeholders and communities.

As the industry continues to evolve, the Beverage Industry Association of the Philippines stays committed to helping its members adapt responsibly. This involves strengthening partnerships, encouraging innovation, and maintaining a platform where the industry can progress together in service of consumers. After 38 years, BIAP’s mission remains clear—not only to represent the beverage sector, but to help guide its growth in a responsible, collaborative way aligned with national priorities.
