Basketball matches on television have just become more entertaining. Since ArenaPlus and the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) came to a sponsorship agreement, fans can now participate more actively and profoundly in the action.
The Official Sports Entertainment Gateway of the PBA is now ArenaPlus, Total Gamezone Xtreme Incorporated’s (TGXI) newest online entertainment service.
With the partnership, Asia’s first-ever professional basketball league and the PBA’s first-ever official sports entertainment gateway partner hope to elevate the entertainment experience for PBA fans by adding more fun, thrill, and excitement.
The PBA Draft, All-Star Week, Media Day, and PBA On Tour are just a few examples of the exceptional events that ArenaPlus, a multi-year sponsor, will have brand visibility in playing venues for. Additionally, it will be posted on the league’s digital and social media platforms.
Scottie Thompson is ArenaPlus’ first athlete endorser
Common Brgy. Scottie Thompson, a shooting guard for Ginebra San Miguel, was named the first ArenaPlus athlete endorser. The brand chose Mythical Team Member, a former Most Valuable Player who finished second in the 2022–23 PBA Commissioners’ Cup in January 2023, as the PBA’s Best Player of the 2021 PBA Governor’s Cup Conference due to his electrifying style of play and significant impact on the fans.
The signing ceremony was held in early April at the PBA Office in Quezon City and was attended by PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial, PBA Marketing Director Jo Francisco, DigiPlus President Andy Tsui and TGXI President Jasper Vicencio. Vicencio said they are super excited to show the PBA and Filipino fans what ArenaPlus is all about and how much fun it can bring to the viewing experience. “The brand will surely add hype and level up the fun and entertainment of the PBA,” Vicencio said.
The PBA was congratulated by DigiPlus President Andy Tsui for allowing DigiPlus to launch its new brand. “Your support is indeed a part of our success, and we will continue to support this source of great entertainment for Filipinos,” he declared.
