Marxandrea Diane. Cabato from DLSU-Manila presents on behalf of Google Developers Student Group at the Globe Student Community Builder Pitch Day.

The inaugural Globe Student Community Builder Pitch Day, a platform created to foster student-led projects through mentorship, cooperation, and direct assistance from Globe, brought together more than 150 students from 63 student organizations.

Student leaders from Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Cavite came together for the event, which was held recently at The Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City. It gave them the chance to tour Globe’s cutting-edge workspaces, make deep connections, and showcase their passion projects to Globe personnel.

The occasion reaffirms Globe’s position as a true partner for young people in a variety of academic fields, including Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM), Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS).

Student participants were guided by Ka-Globe talents from the Information Systems Development Program, Cybersecurity, Corporate Communications, and Loyalty groups, who shared insights on how to turn passions into purpose-driven careers.

Renz Caritativo from PUP presents their proposal to the esteemed mentors and judges.

The highlight of the day was the pitch session, where student organization heads took center stage to share proposals including Google Developers Group from different chapter schools, AWS Cloud Clubs, DLSU-Dasmariñas, iAcademy Creative Orgs, PLM Technology Orgs, Ateneo Business and Leadership Orgs, UP-Diliman Creative and Leadership organizations and other organizations from Greater Metro Manila.

“The Student Community Builder Pitch Day is one of the ways Globe is reinforcing its role as an enabler of the youth. We believe in the potential of students not only as future professionals, but as changemakers today,” said Anne Calma, Head of Marketing Youth Cultures at Globe.

“By providing a space where they can be heard, guided, and supported, we hope to inspire more young people to take bold steps in shaping their communities.”

Filipinos Lead in Global Snacking Habits

  • The State of Philippine Snacking survey results shared
  • Snacking is key to daily life, influenced by connections, mindful snacking and sustainability

Photo shows Cait Punzalan, Corp and Govt Affairs Lead of Mondelēz International; Aleli Arcilla, Managing Director of Mondelēz International; Dr. Imelda Agdeppa, Nutritionist-Dietitian; and Cristina Sison from the Philippine Society of Nutritionist-Dietitians, Inc.

In Filipino homes, snacks have a special place. In fact, the Philippines leads the globe in snacking, according to a 2024 global assessment on the state of eating! The majority of Filipinos polled (98%) consume one snack daily, which is higher than the 91% global average. A well-known snack business recently issued a State of Philippine Snacking report that included information on how, why, and when Filipinos munch, citing this poll.

In comparison to the global average, Filipinos not only snack the most, but they also snack the most often. 84% of respondents to the survey eat two snacks daily, which is higher than the 63% global average. Finally, 42% of respondents report snacking three times a day, which is more than the 31% global average. According to the report, people prefer morning and afternoon snacks because they help them feel more energized. In addition to providing energy, snacking fosters connections for Filipinos, as 90% of snackers state that “sharing snacks with others is my love language.” Three-quarters (3/4) of Filipino snackers say, “Snacking gives me a much-needed pick me up throughout my day.”

I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from this event. It provided valuable insights into how Filipinos consume snacks and reminded me to be more mindful of our eating habits. I also discovered a variety of healthy snack options we can enjoy at home, including Mondelez products that are not only delicious but also nutritious.

The State of Philippine Snacking is a collection of insights from a global report of the same name, which is now on its 6th year. This survey was conducted online by The Harris Poll on behalf of snacking company Mondelēz international from October 10-22, 2024, among adults from Philippines, aged 18 or older. Mondelēz International is the maker of beloved snack brands such Oreo, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Toblerone, and Tiger biscuits. Previously a compounded report of global insights, this is the first year the Philippines is included in the survey, to give a glimpse into Filipinos’ snacking habits.

“Snacking is an essential part of Filipino culture. It allows people to connect with family and friends, relive fond memories, and treat themselves after a productive day,” said Aleli Arcilla, Managing Director of Mondelēz International in the Philippines. “The insights from this year’s State of Philippine Snacking report confirm that Filipinos embrace snacking as part of their daily lives. At the same time, we see a shift toward more mindful choices, with consumers looking for snacks that balance enjoyment and nutrition.”

Snacking Mindfully

Even as Filipinos snack the most globally, they do so mindfully. Mindful Snacking matters to Filipinos, according to the survey. An overwhelming 99% of Filipino snackers engage in mindful snacking behavior with 92% agreeing, “I appreciate my snacks more when consumed mindfully.” The most important piece of snacking advice that consumers have received is that they should “…enjoy snacks in moderation.” (55%). 80% also look for portion-controlled snacks. 91% similarly agree, “I combine my favorite snack foods with other, more nutritious foods for balance.”

Snacking is a cherished part of Filipino life, adding moments of joy to everyday routine. 96% agree, “Life is more fun with a bit of indulgence.” 92% also agree, “Snacking is my way of treating myself after a productive day.” Lastly, 86% agree “Some snacks should just be for enjoyment or satisfaction.”

The Where and How of Snacking

Filipino snackers also have preferences on where to buy their snacks and how to enjoy them. According to the survey, 67-68% of consumers surveyed say they buy their snacks from malls or neighborhood convenience stores.

Filipinos also like sustainable snacking. Sixty percent of eco-friendly items are created from sustainable materials, and 99% of Filipino customers participate in sustainable projects and behaviors.

Through animation, 90,000 Bangsamoro children learn about inclusion and peace

Minister Mohagher Iqbal is accompanied by Australian Embassy officials Ms. Vivienne Sykes and Mr. Peter Carreon at the Isla Maganda materials handover. Also present are MBHTE officials: Basic Education Director General Abdullah Salik Jr., Higher Education Director General Marjuni Maddi, Atty. Mojahid Guro, Chief of the Legal Division, and Mr. Mobarak Pandi, Chief of the Information and Communications Division. Photo from Pathways.

Children sat enthralled in a remote Bangsamoro hamlet as Isla Maganda creates a universe where fundamental skills are taught with resilience, teamwork, and problem-solving. 90,000 kids are currently learning these vital skills thanks to a top-notch audio and animation series that is based on Bangsamoro cultural values. Children have already viewed the series an average of two to three times in classrooms with technology, and 99,527 workbooks with interesting hands-on activities have been issued to help reinforce what they have learned.

The Bangsamoro Government, in partnership with the Australian Government, introduced Isla Maganda, the first program in Bangsamoro to integrate 21st-century skills and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) into early education. Isla Maganda reaches children in remote and disadvantaged areas, helping them build the skills they need for lifelong learning. To date, 546 public elementary schools, learning centers, Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED) implementing schools, Special Education (SPED) Centers, and madaris (Islamic schools) across six provinces have benefited from this initiative.

To strengthen teachers’ capacities and address learning gaps, 2,622 teachers have been trained and provided with the animated series’ teacher’s guide and children’s workbooks.

Low literacy rates have persistently challenged the Bangsamoro region, driven by barriers in access, quality, and inclusion, leading to widespread disparities. The region has the lowest literacy rates among 17 regions in the Philippines, and according to the Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education’s (MBHTE) 2021 Activity Baseline Results, most Grades 1 to 3 students perform below expected standards.

Isla Maganda aims to bridge this gap by delivering engaging, culturally relevant learning through animation and audio storytelling. This 20-episode series for Kindergarten to Grade 3 (K-3) learners strengthens literacy, numeracy, and peace education, while embedding core Bangsamoro values such as respect, honesty, and empathy. Developed over four years, it is a collaborative effort uniting government partners, international production teams, local talents, and education experts.

MBHTE Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal affirmed the importance of Isla Maganda’s rollout to schools across BARMM, including remote and conflict-affected areas.

“Many young learners grow up in conflict-affected or geographically remote areas, where access to quality and inclusive education is inconsistent, having a detrimental impact on their learning and future opportunities.”

“I commend the efforts of MBHTE, the Australian Government, DepEd, and education leaders across the country for their dedication to delivering quality, inclusive education to children in BARMM through Isla Maganda. Now, more young learners will gain the essential skills they need to excel in their learning, empowering children, strengthening communities, and building a future of peace and prosperity for our region.”

The Australian Embassy worked closely with MBHTE to provide technical assistance in developing Isla Maganda materials, ensuring they are tailored to the Bangsamoro context and designing teacher training programs to support their seamless integration into classrooms.

Each episode of Isla Maganda, part of the 21st Century Skills and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum, is accompanied by lesson plans for teachers provided by MBHTE, ensuring its effective integration into the broader education curriculum across BARMM.

In February, Ma. Socorro Tabuga, a teacher at Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao’s Lapok Elementary School, was one of the first to introduce Isla Maganda to her Kindergarten pupils. She was excited to see how her pupils would respond after finishing a three-day master training course on how to use Isla Maganda classroom resources and lead discussions on important subjects.

“Isla Maganda is helping my students develop important skills like empathy, self-control, and cooperation. Since introducing the series, I’ve noticed a positive change in the way they interact, and there’s less fighting. They identify with the characters they like and adopt their traits, which has led to better interaction, teamwork, and problem solving,” she shared.

Through its dedicated YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/@IslaMaganda), Isla Maganda is also available to everyone, allowing more kids—including those from outside the area—to watch the series, learn fundamental skills, create a route to academic achievement, and help bring about enduring peace.

Global migration trends are changing, creating new opportunities for work and study abroad overseas—British Council IELTS

  • As traditional pathways for migration are evolving, more Filipinos are seeking work and study opportunities beyond the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
  • To help them navigate the migration shift, the British Council, a globally recognised provider of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), equips candidates with the support and resources needed to gain internationally recognised qualifications for work, study, and living abroad.
  • With the British Council IELTS, Filipino students and professionals can expand their horizons in emerging destinations like Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, and Spain.

Popular Filipino migration destinations, such as the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, are updating their visa and international student regulations in response to recent changes in the global economy, creating chances in new countries. In 2025, the British Council, a widely reputable and acknowledged supplier of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), offers Filipinos individualized assistance to help them obtain globally recognized credentials and investigate new opportunities for employment, education, and living overseas.

Filipino emigrants, who have historically been lured to the “big four” countries—the US, UK, Canada, and Australia—now face a changing landscape. Australia is taking steps to limit the number of overseas students it accepts, while the United States has suspended residence applications due to immigration restrictions. In the meantime, the UK is tightening regulations on student visa rules, and Canada is reducing its programs for temporary foreign worker programs.

To help Filipinos navigate the changing migration landscape, the British Council, the organization that co-jointly runs the IELTS, provides internationally recognised credentials that open doors to a wide range of opportunities worldwide. Accepted by over 12,500 organisations across 140 countries, the British Council provides essential resources and personalised support needed to help Filipinos succeed in the IELTS exam, preparing them for success not only in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, but also in emerging destinations across Europe, Asia, and beyond.

Where Filipinos are Headed in 2025
Several countries are now eager to attract global talent, creating new opportunities for Filipino students and professionals. Here are some of the rising destinations for 2025:

New Zealand

New Zealand, known for its thriving agriculture, healthcare, construction, and engineering sectors, is also becoming an increasingly attractive destination for Filipino workers. The country recently overhauled its Accredited Employer Work Visa regulations to make it easier for skilled foreign workers to migrate. These changes include removing restrictions on middle-income jobs, reducing experience requirements from three to two years, and introducing new seasonal worker visas.

Germany

Germany, well-renowned for its expertise in engineering, healthcare, and technology, has become a top destination for Filipino students and professionals. To strengthen its workforce, the country introduced major immigration reforms through the Skilled Labor Immigration Act, a new points-based system which evaluates applicants based on salary, educational level, and German language proficiency, making it easier to enter the country even without a job offer. The country also supports foreign students with a one year opportunity visa, allowing them to gain work experience and improve their chances of securing long-term employment.

“Moving here was a big step, but its world-class education, strong job market, and vibrant culture made it all worth it,” recounts Jay Paul Ely Tena, the 2023 IELTS Prize Winner, who recently pursued his graduate studies in the University of Erfurt. “Adjusting to the language and lifestyle had its challenges, but my IELTS preparation with the British Council gave me the confidence to communicate effectively, both in my studies and daily life,” he adds.

Spain

Spain, a global hub for education and business, is strengthening its immigration policies to boost its workforce. Foreign students pursuing higher education can receive automatic work authorization and can remain in Spain for up to 24 months post-graduation to seek employment or start a business. The country has also removed the three-year residency requirement for switching from a student to a work visa, making it easier for graduates to enter the workforce. Additionally, Spain plans to legalize 300,000 undocumented immigrants annually, granting them work and residence permits.

“Living in Spain has been an incredible experience—the welcoming culture, the balance between work and personal life, and the accessibility of everything made it feel like home,” shares Jessica Badua, the 2022 IELTS Prize winner, who earned her master’s degree at the Universidad de Cádiz. “The British Council IELTS was instrumental in my journey, not only helping me gain admission to my master’s program but also opening doors for scholarships and opportunities that made my transition as an international student smoother and much more rewarding.”

Singapore

Singapore remains a top choice for Filipino professionals. The country’s Overseas Networks and Expertise (ONE) Pass, part of the city-state’s broader strategy to attract top global talent, allows skilled professionals and entrepreneurs to live and work there for five years without employer restrictions. The country has also simplified pathways for international students to obtain permanent residency, allowing graduates to transition smoothly into the workforce.

“Many Filipinos may feel uncertain about their options due to the changing migration landscape,” says Zoe Zhang, Regional Director for Exams at the British Council. “But the British Council ensures that our candidates have the tools and qualifications they need to prepare for the IELTS and help them succeed on the global stage, even outside the ‘Big 4.’”

Even though migration patterns are constantly changing, the British Council IELTS is dedicated to giving Filipino professionals and students the tools and assistance they need to follow their aspirations of working, studying, and living overseas so they can create a bright future wherever they go.

Schneider Electric promotes energy saving as the foundation of a resilient company

  • Schneider Electric emphasizes that Philippine businesses can no longer treat energy efficiency as optional. Companies must act now to remain competitive and sustainable.
  • While 98% of Philippine businesses have sustainability goals, only 52% are taking meaningful action.
  • Schneider Electric’s three-step approach to strategize, digitize, and decarbonize offers a clear path to closing this gap.

Ireen Catane, Country President of Schneider Electric Philippines, at the Energy Efficiency Day 2025 conference hosted by the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance, Inc. (PE2) held last March 20 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has reaffirmed its call for Philippine businesses to prioritize energy efficiency as the quickest and most economical path to sustainability, as rising energy costs and climate change continue to have an impact on businesses.

Energy efficiency is now a need for companies looking to be resilient and competitive, according to Ireen Catane, Country President of Schneider Electric Philippines.

“In the Philippines, we have seen an increase in the Green Impact Gap by 5 points since last year’s survey, reaching 46%. While 98% of companies have sustainability goals, only 52% are taking comprehensive steps to meet them,” said Catane. “We need to better understand how we can work together to close this gap. Energy efficiency is the most immediate and impactful solution businesses can adopt today.”

Schneider Electric pioneered the use of the Green Impact Gap to measure the misalignment between companies’ declared commitment towards their sustainability goals and the tangible actions to implement sustainable development.

Energy Efficiency: A Business Imperative

Schneider Electric reports that rising climate risks have led to unstable energy costs and supply chain disruptions, already impacting 41% of businesses in Asia. Moreover, artificial intelligence-driven computing demand is expected to increase data center power consumption by 4.2 times by 2028, further straining energy resources and amplifying the need for smarter energy management.

Schneider Electric’s insights align with data from the PE2. Alexander Ablaza, President of PE2, highlighted the financial and environmental benefits of energy efficiency, stating that businesses could save billions in operational costs while cutting carbon emissions. However, he noted that many companies are still in the process of prioritizing and mainstreaming sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives in their day-to-day operations.

At the same conference, Schneider Electric outlined a three-step approach for businesses to effectively close the Green Impact Gap: Strategize, Digitize, and Decarbonize.

  • Strategize: Develop a clear roadmap to sustainability with measurable targets.
  • Digitize: Leverage data and automation to monitor and optimize energy consumption.
  • Decarbonize: Implement solutions that drive emissions reduction and long-term energy savings.

By adopting these steps, businesses can unlock financial and operational benefits. Schneider Electric’s research found that energy-efficient buildings not only reduce operational costs but also enhance property value and business reputation. Moreover, 42% of Philippine-based companies surveyed recognized new business opportunities arising from improved energy efficiency.

Leaders from the energy, sustainability, and government sectors gathered at the Energy Efficiency Day 2025 conference at SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, to drive action on accelerating energy efficiency in the Philippines

A Call to Action for Philippine Enterprises

Schneider Electric, alongside other representatives from both the public and private sector, reaffirmed its commitment to helping businesses navigate the energy transition through advanced solutions and strategic partnerships. “The path to sustainability is clear. Companies that act now will be the ones that thrive. The technology and expertise to drive energy efficiency already exist, and businesses must take decisive steps to turn commitments into real impact,” Catane emphasized.

The private sector is under growing pressure to adopt energy-saving measures as a result of legislative frameworks like the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act. Adopting these solutions is crucial for long-term corporate sustainability and competitiveness in the Philippines, according to Schneider Electric and industry executives who spoke at the conference.

Coca-Cola Philippines and its partners use the iSTAR program to empower 2,000 women entrepreneurs

iSTAR graduates at the graduation ceremony in the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos Gymnasium.

On February 1, 2025, Coca-Cola Philippines’ longstanding partner, the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF), held the first-ever Hybrid Mass Graduation Ceremony for the iSTAR Program in Bacolod, Negros Occidental. Coca-Cola Philippines’ dedication to economic development, especially for women in underserved communities, is in line with this milestone.

2,000 graduates who enrolled in person or electronically came together for the graduation ceremony, which reaffirmed the program’s contribution to the advancement of women entrepreneurs across the country.

This was a significant accomplishment for the iSTAR Program in Western Visayas, especially in Region VI, emphasizing its function in giving business owners the abilities, know-how, and self-assurance they need to launch and grow their enterprises.

“For over 112 years, Coca-Cola Philippines has been refreshing the lives of Filipinos and making a positive difference in our communities, said Ivanna Dela Torre, Senior Director of Public Affairs, Communication, and Sustainability at Coca-Cola Philippines.

The event was attended by key TESDA (Technical Education & Skills Development Authority) officials, including Director General Sec. Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez, Deputy Director General for Special Concerns Felizardo R. Colombo, Executive Director of the Partnerships and Linkages Office Floramel Joy C. Songsong, Chief of the National Training Center for Women Mylene H. Somera, and TESDA regional and provincial representatives.

Strengthening partnerships for greater impact

iSTAR graduate and Sari-sari Store and Bakery owner Catherine Gallano, shared how the program equipped her with the essential skills and knowledge for her entrepreneurial success. Through the initiative’s digital learning platform, she also gained confidence in financial management and customer engagement, allowing her to expand her business.

“The iSTAR program has been incredibly beneficial as it empowers women like me to run a sustainable business, allowing us to earn a living and enhance our quality of life”, she shared.

iSTAR graduate Catherine Gallano proudly showcases her baked goods in her bakery, applying the skills and knowledge gained from the program to expand her business.

The success of the iSTAR Program is driven by the strong collaboration between Coca-Cola Philippines, TESDA, and the NWTF. TESDA has played a key role in expanding the program’s reach by providing training and certification, as well as making iSTAR’s modules free and accessible nationwide through the TESDA Online Program, ensuring more aspiring entrepreneurs can benefit from the initiative.

“You get addicted to learning; you get addicted to [the] growth of learning for yourself and sharing your learning through training others as well. Spread the message: TESDA is here to make sure that no Filipino potential goes to waste. We are here to ensure that you have the skills that you need for whatever you or your family aspires for. That we are here to help you from training to [trabaho],” said Sec. Benitez.

The NWTF has been instrumental in implementing iSTAR in grassroots communities. Its commitment to championing entrepreneurship has played a key role in ensuring that program participants—especially women—receive the necessary training and support to sustain their businesses.

“Loans are just part of it; we need loans to have capital, but the heart of Project Dungganon is to support, maximize, and protect the business. iSTAR is one of the programs Dungganon delivers in order to capacitate our members to better their businesses,” said Gilbert Stephan Maramba, Director for Operations at the NWTF.

Expanding support through Centers for Entrepreneurship

Launched in 2020, the iSTAR Program is a free entrepreneurship training initiative by Coca-Cola Philippines and TESDA. It is designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with essential skills for starting and managing retail businesses through digital platforms.

In July 2024, Coca-Cola Philippines launched Centers for Entrepreneurship (CFEs) in seven key areas under the iSTAR Program. In Shillong, what is brewing? Return of the ASEAN-India Artists’ Camp: Three Regions, One Cultural Canvas, Ten Days

  • The camp brings artists from ASEAN, Timor Leste, and India into a shared creative space, where ideas will flow as freely as paint and conversations bridge cultures
  • The masterpieces created during the camp will first be displayed in a special exhibition in Shillong, followed by showcases in New Delhi and Malaysia, the ASEAN Chair for 2025

From March 29 to April 7, 2025, the third edition of the ASEAN-India Artists’ Camp (AIAC) will take place in Shillong, bringing together 21 artists from ASEAN Member States, Timor Leste, and India for a 10-day residency. In accordance with the decisions made and approved at the 21st ASEAN-India Summit and India’s all-encompassing strategic partnership in the field of culture, the camp, which is being organized by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in partnership with Seher, will commemorate ten years of India’s Act East Policy by utilizing art as a medium for cultural dialogue.

First conceptualized in 2017 by Sanjeev Bhargava, Founder-Director of SEHER, AIAC has emerged as a key platform for cultural engagement between India and Southeast Asia. Unlike traditional diplomatic gatherings, it will offer a more intimate setting, where artists from different regions, tucked away together, will spend days exchanging techniques, experiences, and perspectives over steaming cups of tea. The focus is not solely on the stunning works they will create – though those are sure to impress – but on the quiet, meaningful exchanges that will echo long after the camp wraps up. Over ten days, artists will create original works, take part in workshops on classical dance, music, and handicrafts, and explore India’s artistic traditions in a collaborative setting. They will also hold interactive sessions with local art students in Shillong and conduct a special workshop at a local school, where visiting ASEAN artists will share their skills and experiences with young learners.

Some of the ASEAN artists taking part in the camp are Ms. Chong Ai Chezer (Singapore), Mr. Abilio da Conceição Silva (Timor Leste), Mr. Panich Phupratana (Thailand), Mr. Phonesith Yernsensuly (Lao PDR), Ms. Mohana Kumara Velu (Malaysia), Ms. Lou Lim (Philippines), Ms. Nwe Ni Soe (Myanmar), Mr. Ros Norak (Cambodia), along with Indian artists Ms. Mrudula Kunatharaju (multi-disciplinary artist), Ms. Mousumi Biswas (realistic figurative paintings), Ms. Japani Shyam Dhurwey (Gond artist), Mr. Kazi Nasir (realistic contemporary nature and wildlife paintings), Mr. Prakash Joshi (Phad artist), Mr. Aayush (wash painting), Mr. Vinay Kumar (Cheriyal artist), Mr. Bappa Chitrakar (Kali Ghat artist), Mr. Chandan Bez Baruah (Postmodernism in Landscape), Mr. Raphael Warjri (acrylic painting).

During the camp, the artists will talk about various forms of painting and their shared cultural histories in various styles and forms of art, initiated and guided by the esteemed Mentors of the Camp—Samindranath Majumdar, Tanmoy Samanta, and Yogendra Tripathi. Each artist will create one work of art, representing different styles—contemporary, modern, traditional, impressionist—while still carrying the essence of their own culture and history.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhargava said, “This camp feels like a heartbeat shared across borders. A gathering where artists don’t just meet, but truly see each other. It’s special because it’s messy and real: paint-stained hands, late-night stories, and the kind of laughter that bridges languages. For me, it’s about watching strangers become family through art, carrying their traditions and dreams into something new, something that lingers in your chest long after the brushes are down.”

A virtual introductory session on March 25 will bring the artists together ahead of the residency. The official press conference and launch of the camp will take place in Delhi on March 29, before the camp moves to Shillong. The event will close with a ceremony featuring cultural performances and an exhibition, attended by senior officials from the Ministry of External Affairs.

Before traveling to Malaysia, the ASEAN Chair for 2025, for a week-long exhibition, the camp’s creations will be initially seen in a two-day display in New Delhi. By employing art to foster closer regional and cultural relations, AIAC keeps expanding the ASEAN-India Dialogue Relations with every edition.
